Description
The Gerber Empower Auto 30-001323 is built for users who want fast automatic deployment, premium blade steel, and dependable everyday carry performance in a USA-made platform. Based on the field-proven Gerber Propel series, the Empower takes the same rugged automatic action and refines it with a more modern EDC-focused design, combining tactical reliability with cleaner styling and improved carry comfort.
At the heart of the knife is a 3.25-inch CPM-S30V stainless steel blade with a rugged stonewash finish that helps hide wear from daily use while maintaining a clean, aggressive appearance. The modified spear point blade profile offers excellent piercing capability and balanced cutting performance, making it ideal for everyday utility tasks, tactical applications, and general carry use. CPM-S30V steel is widely respected for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability.
The push-button automatic deployment delivers fast, authoritative opening with a solid lockup that feels confident in hand. Gerber also integrated a slide safety to help prevent accidental deployment while carrying, giving users additional security when the knife is stored in a pocket or gear bag. The plunge lock mechanism provides smooth operation and dependable retention during hard use.
One of the standout features of the Empower is its Armored Grip™ handle system. The black anodized aluminum handle is lightweight yet durable, while the electroformed textured grip inserts provide enhanced traction without being overly aggressive on pockets or clothing. The ergonomic design creates a comfortable, secure grip whether used for quick daily cutting tasks or more demanding situations.
Made in Gerber’s Portland, Oregon manufacturing facility, the Empower Auto reflects Gerber’s focus on American-made craftsmanship and practical performance. With its premium materials, responsive automatic action, and versatile everyday carry design, the Gerber Empower 30-001323 is an excellent option for users seeking a reliable automatic knife that balances tactical capability with modern EDC styling.
