Venom 4TR ELITE Tactical OTF Knife - Black (Satin Tanto Par Ser 3.4")

Solid, smooth, fast, I love it

I’ve reviewed a couple of these knives but bought another so I’m reiterating my thoughts. These knives are great. I have several MT and BM auto OTF knives but there are times I KNOW I’m going to be hard on them and really don’t want to beat up a $500 knife but prefer auto OTF edc. I came across these Venoms online and thought I’d give them a whirl. They are now the knife usually carry. You wouldn’t know by the quality that they are 20% of the price of a similar size MT. The blades arrive sharp, the deployment and retraction are consistent and crisp and the lock up is strong with little if any play. I’ve not had a single misfire in the 8 months I’ve had these Venoms and all I do is blow them out with air, clean, sharpen and wax the blade with SiO2. From the contact I’ve had with Southern Sporting Goods I’m going to assume the customer service would be sufficient but to this point I’ve not needed any…that’s a good thing! No doubt I’ll buy another Venom from SSG.
